Good Stay but Inconvenient Location
Breakfast - Minimal but delicious Room - Big, Western Standard Size for 2 Bedroom, Kitchen is fully stocked, Dish Soap and Laundry Detergent are provided. Location - Is good for Skiing/Winter Activities Staff - Very Friendly.
Location - Far from Center, About 15 Minutes by Shuttle (Free), No restaurants on-site. You will walk 20-30 minutes to go to Hirafu Welcome Center (Not Recommended for Winter because the sidewalks are covered with snow and ice). We spent 3000 to 3,500 Yen for 1 Taxi (Oneway) from Hirafu Welcome Center to the hotel. Shuttle - Infrequent. There is no shuttle during lunch times - only 2-3 in the Morning and 4 in the Afternoon (starts at 4 pm). Inconvenient schedule, they don't come at every hour. Sometimes every 1.5 hours (excluding lunch time) Restaurants/Convenience Store - None

great modern apartments, ideal for people who want to cook themselves. if you have no car, it’s a bit of a hassle.
the layout and furniture of the apartment was great. staff were friendly and helpful. the onsen was very pleasant. the location was good to access the slopes in the morning and to ski back in the afternoon. ski storage facility was great with great staff. the shuttle bus service was good, but still a bit of a hassle, as it did not run that frequently
the lack of food options generally in the hotel and nearby. it’s really an apartment with a breakfast bar and basic take away food options, which is better than nothing but not great at this price level. the ‘hotel’ has no bar or restaurant whatsoever. just a coffee machine. breakfast was ok but pretty basic for asian standards. food that ran out, like the few fruits, did not seem to be restocked. that gave it a very cheap feeling. there was only one restaurant (in Green Leaf Hotel) that was walking distance, and this was a hotpot place. so if you don’t want to eat hotpot every night, you got to book restaurants in advance. hotel shuttle was good to a degree but not going very often. what looked like breakfast cafes on the map nearby were not really walkable in the winter. roads around the hotel are not for walking, just for driving.
